Seriously, it's refreshing! Guys tend to hold back their emotion a wee bit in front of the camera, but Mike was ALL about it, because he is SO in love with this woman!
This couple also loves to laugh - and it's a good thing that they have a sense of humor! During their shoot, I asked them to climb down a hill to get to a beautiful bluff. Well, we all started climbing and quickly realized the bluff was made out of limestone, which when wet is the consistency of really sludgy, slippery clay. We all had near-death-experiences I think, but we TOTALLY got THE shot and laughed the entire way through it!
Congratulations to Carly and Mike - they'll be getting hitched in 2010!

Absolutley LOVE the photos........and the Blog. Mike truly does love my daughter, and am not surprised you were able to tell. We are blessed beyond measure to have this wonderful daughter and "son". They are terrific people and as a Mom, it is a given to love your kids, but I also really LIKE them!
