Kristi and Herb: Engaged!

Kristi and Herb are a fabulous couple! They have great style - no matter if it is their killer condo, attire or attitude - they are an impeccable couple all around! Spring is one of my favorite times to photograph in Minnesota, because the trees are blooming pink and the LIME green color in the grass is amazing!

For their engagement session, Kristi and Herb invited me into their home for a casual start - then we snazzed it up!

David and LeAnna: Engaged!

David and LeAnna are high school sweethearts! This super-cute-couple has been through it all! They have been together for a total of 7 years and they are SO great together! I'm also a HUGE fan of LeAnna's hair and fabulous shoe style...and I love David's input and ideas when it comes to their photographs! (The last photo in this post was David's idea and I LOVE it!) This couple's wedding will be taking place this fall, so stay tuned!

Sarah and Christopher: Engaged!

His specialty: Food. Her specialty: Massage. Together - this couple is a ROMANCE POWERHOUSE!

Seriously - Sarah and Christopher are a super fun and super passionate couple who are crazy in love!

This oh-so-cute couple will be getting married this summer back in Minnesota! In the mean time, they will be re-locating to Colorado for Christopher's dream-chef-job!

Jayde and Matt: Engaged!

Jayde and Matt are a very special couple! These two love-birds have a fabulous story - and the forces of life totally brought them together to find true love! For this session, we ventured into a cool little shop called Arts & Architecture for a quirky, vintage twist!

I am super excited and super happy for Jayde and Matt! This couple will be getting married in the spring of 2010 with a vintage inspired wedding....stay tuned!

Heather and David: Engaged!

Heather and David are a great couple! Fun-loving-and-fabulously-in-love to be exact! For their engagement session, we went to the Walker Art Center (I know, 3 blog posts in a week from this location - crazy!)

I am actually not shooting Heather and David's wedding, because I am already booked for their wedding date. However, I wish them the absolute BEST of luck on their wedding day - and their new life together!   Congratulations to Heather and David on their engagement!   eliesa

Jessica and Jamal: Engaged!

"Oh-my-gosh! I LOVE you! I am SOOO hiring you to shoot my wedding when I get married!"  These are my fondest memory of Jessica! We were in the bathroom of a VFW in small-town-northern-Minnesota and Jessica was a bridesmaid in a wedding I was shooting! I absolutely LOVE it when people get excited about my work - and it is even better when they remember me years later! Jessica and Jamal are a lovely couple who will be getting married later on this fall. We went to the Walker Art Museum to photograph their engagement shoot, which is also the location of one of their first dates! I couldn't be happier for these two!

Karen and Mike: Engaged!

Karen and Mike are an infectious couple! Karen has so much spunk and brings out the best in her hubby-to-be! For their engagements, we went back to the spot where he proposed at the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis! I've done many photo sessions at this location, so it was my goal to do something entirely different. Each couple is unique and brings new life into a space, no matter how many times I have been there! My challenge: Reflection! I think these photos KICK ASS!

Susan and Mark: Engaged!

Susan and Mark met at a party. She played hard to get and the next thing you know, they are months away from getting married! I absolutely love this couple, because they are totally goofy and have a TON of fun together! It is also very obvious how supportive they are of each other's lives as individuals, which I think is an amazing and important attribute to any relationship! 

Congratulations to Susan and Mark on their engagement! I'm soooooo excited to shoot their wedding winter! Seriously, it's going to be sooooo COOL! (I secretly want to share the details with you now, but I promise, it's worth the wait!)
