As our couples book for the 2015 season, I'm beginning to see a trend. More and more couples are having more small, intimate and family-based wedding ceremonies, at a cool destination location! It's almost a fusion of an elopement, in which the couple takes some time for just the two of them during the day, while joining the immediate families for a very tiny reception. I love to travel for weddings, I mean, what wedding photographer doesn't, but I find that I am incredibly inspired with new locations and when Corinne and Josh asked me to travel to Colorado for their winter wedding, I was totally on board. This couple spent the first half of their day taking time just for pictures and we even found a *quite* epic backdrop for them to say their vows to one another, just the two of them. We later ventured to some family property up in the mountains where a small ceremony and the celebration continued. So, Corinne and Josh - you are totally trendsetters with your outlook on your wedding!
Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Larsen!
